As our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be the key driver of turning data into insights that shape strategic decisions across the organization. You will be reporting directly to our COO & CFO and work closely with the leadership team and cross-functional teams across the company. In the role, you will develop and maintain our BI platform and data pipelines to ensure that all stakeholders have the tools and information they need to make data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on role with great opportunity to inform strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment. 

🔥What’s the role about: 

Data Strategy & Infrastructure:

• Lead the development and optimization of our BI infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Define and implement robust data pipelines and ELT processes.
• Develop complex SQL transformations of raw data from multiple sources to build analytics-ready data sets.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all data assets.

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Analyze datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance metrics across departments including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product and Operations.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with leadership to understand business department objectives and define relevant KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and support decision-making processes.
• Translate technical findings into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve BI tools, processes, and workflows to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
  

🕵️ Who we really are looking for...

• 3+ years experience in BI, data analysis, or a related role, ideally within a scale-up environment.
• Proven experience building scalable BI solutions and working with large datasets.

• Proficiency in BI tools (we use ThoughtSpot but experience with similar tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is also relevant).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling and data lineage from raw data to data marts.
• Familiarity with ELT processes and tools (we use Fivetran and dbt, but experience with similar tools e.g. Stitch and Dataform is also relevant).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (we use BiqQuery, but experience with similar platforms e.g. Snowflake, Redshift is also relevant).
• Strong ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
